Aaron Colvin has signed with Washington less than a week after getting released by the Texans.
The former Sooner had a solid 4 years with the Jaguars before being acquired by Houston before the 2018 season. His trajectory with the Texans was less than remarkable, reaching its nadir on Monday night where he was targeted several times, ultimately giving up the pass to Ted Ginn which set up the game winning field goal. He was released a day later.
Per CBS, “The Redskins are hoping to get the 2017 version of Colvin, who would have to compete with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Fabian Moreau for playing time at cornerback. Quinton Dunbar and Josh Norman are the starters in Washington.”
