Stewart Mandel, The Athletic’s Editor in Chief of College Football, has released something he’s calling the post-transfer portal early Top 25 for the 2022 college football season. Notably, he has left the Sooners outside the 25, lumping them in to the ‘others receiving votes’ section behind Iowa and BYU.
This has of course caught the attention of the Sooner nation on Twitter, who have let their feelings heard. Mandel followed up with his reasoning with the following:
