No doubt you are familiar with the Stripe The Stadium events in season’s past, where fans where Red or White depending on what section they will be sitting in. No need to check your tickets for this game, however, as everybody’s en blanco. Need some Cream Sooner gear? We got ya covered:

Shout out to one-time Oklahoma Sooner Tommy Grady, who is now an Arena Football League champion and MVP! Grady led the Albany Empire over the Philadelphia Soul 45-27 in ArenaBowl XXXII on Sunday to win the title in their second year of existence. The one-time backup to Jason White threw 5 touchdowns, at stat line that would fit right in with any Heisman winning QB in the Stoops or Riley era. While Tommy didn’t get much of a chance either behind Heisman winner White or after he transferred to Utah, he is an absolute legend in AFL. In addition to an ArenaBowl Championship and…
With fall camp underway, Dennis Dodd takes a look at the key storylines coming up in a few weeks. Dodd ranks QB transfers as the 6th most interesting storyline. Oklahoma is actually a part of 2 QB transfers, with Jalen Hurts coming in, and Austin Kendall heading to WVU. Alabama’s Jalen Hurts replaces a Heisman Trophy winner at Oklahoma after losing his starting job to a near-Heisman winner at Bama. Oklahoma’s Austin Kendall is the leader at West Virginia. Georgia’s Justin Fields replaces the Big Ten’s single-season passing leader at Ohio State. OSU’s Tate Martell is eligible right away at…
Oh lord, this is wonderful. Thank you @Tpalmateer83 He killed 90’s dad style. Specifically, 90’s dad golf style: That Phil Michelson, throw-a-polo-under-that-old-sweater-vest and play 9 holes look. We’re reminded it was not just a Stoops staple, but for many men. pic.twitter.com/9ymv9GK7FJ — Tyler Palmateer (@Tpalmateer83) August 2, 2019 Damn pic.twitter.com/KG28zm3c0X — Tyler Palmateer (@Tpalmateer83) August 2, 2019 And look at this turtleneck pic.twitter.com/Kw7zSmd6FZ — Tyler Palmateer (@Tpalmateer83) August 2, 2019 HIT ME AGAIN pic.twitter.com/AMCiNWmaFA — Tyler Palmateer (@Tpalmateer83) August 2, 2019 The crown. ESPN discusses how the NCAA Transfer Portal has led to some interesting situations across college football, including both inbound and outbound tranfers of Oklahoma QBs.
Bleacher Report recently did a cool piece on EA Sports NCAA Football video game living on through the efforts of some super fans, and 247Sports does an update each year to the hypothetical cover art showing what player(s) might grace the cover were the game still being produced. No Sooner ever made the cover of the game in it’s 18 year run, but that would most certainly have not been the case after back-to-back Heisman trophy winners. At least Mayfield or Murray would no doubt have been on it, but could we take the hypotheticals one step further, and say that the Sooners would…
