Coach Patty Gasso joined ESPN’s Stephen A Smith on Monday to discuss the state of the WCWS facilities in Oklahoma City and the tournament as a whole. The 5-time national champion pointed out the inconsistencies with other NCAA team tournaments, highlighting the lack of instant replay, and the fact that the tournament is compressed to afford no rest days for teams. The Sooners are one win away from the 2021 Softball National Championship. Led by a shutdown pitching performance by G Juarez, the Sooners evened the series with FSU at 1-1 with a thrilling 6-2 comeback.
