I’m very proud to announce the latest version of the #1 Free OU Football news app, now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play store!
When I first launched SoonerApp in 2012, I had no idea it would receive the kind of response it has. Sooner fans around the world make SoonerApp their go-to app for the latest OU football news over a million times a year!
Now entering our 9th season, this is the best version yet. We have completely updated the News tab, with bigger images and space for all the OU news. Behind the scenes, I’m working to bring you better free OU news. You’ll see more football-relevant stuff, faster, and with better info. I’m also adding more featured articles, like the recent deep-dive on Lincoln Riley. More great stuff like that to come.
Also some much-requested updates on the Tweets tab. More people use this feature the app than I had previously thought, to be honest, so I’ve spent some time to improve the Social media feed with better image handling. More work coming on that for future updates as well.
If you prefer to only see tweets from official OU staff, admin, and player accounts, you can now use the filter option in Settings.
And last but not least, Full iPad Support! I’ve been working on this off and on for like 7 years, so I’m glad to get a full screen version for all you iPad users. More tweaks and improvements coming there, too.
All these changes are available now for iOS and Android!
