Yep, you read that right. Today, the Oklahoma Senate sent out an official press release detailing a bill to rename three inches of remote highway after the former OU coach. The release reads:
“Following the sudden and unexpected departure of the University of Oklahoma’s former head football coach that left the Sooner Nation and other football fans in shock, Sen. Bill Coleman has requested legislation to properly ‘honor’ Lincoln Riley. The bill request asks to name the last three inches of the westbound lane of State Highway 325 in the panhandle as the ‘Lincoln Riley Highway'”.
LOL, now that is petty.
