ESPN is reporting that former OU DT Perrion Winfrey was released by the Cleveland Browns Wednesday after police listed him as a suspect in an aggravated robbery incident. Jake Trotter writes: “The Cleveland Browns released defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey on Wednesday after police listed him as a suspect in an aggravated robbery incident. A police spokesperson said its law department was still processing a report on Winfrey. No other details were immediately available. In a separate incident in April, Winfrey was arrested in Harris County, Texas, after being accused of grabbing the hand of a woman he was dating, causing “bodily injury,” according to court records.…

WCWS ushers pride themselves on tracking down home run balls and returning them to the families of the players who hit them. The WCWS staff and ushers aren’t exactly sure when the tradition started, just that it’s beloved and something they hope never changes.
